Acoustic Insulation
Wherever there is an increased ambient noise level (noise level examples, see chart above), soundproof windows are recommended. For example, in houses or flats which are next to a road, beside a railway line or in the vicinity of an airport. Increased noise levels usually mean stress and anxiety for the residents. With a soundproof window, this can be avoided and quality of life can be recovered.
An increase of sound pressure level of +10 dB is subjectively perceived as a doubling of the previous volume level. A quiet conversation with 40 dB (A) is not four times as loud as the normal breathing of 10 dB (A), but eight times louder

It should be noted: The noise reduction value of the glass is not transferable to the complete element. So that the noise is really kept outside it is essential for the window to be professionally installed. The Standard-/Double glazing corresponds to 32 dB.
